You can buy the Yamaha R15 V2.0 in 4 new colors now

The Yamaha R15 V2.0 is arguably the first step in honing the Valentino Rossi in you. The 150cc motorcycle is the closest that novice riders get to a track bike. The bike’s popularity has been growing steadily, especially after Yamaha launched the V2.0 back in 2011 with styling elements that took it closer to big engined Yamahas. India Yamaha Motor is known to slip in new color options for their bikes every now and then. Last year, the FZ series bikes received new paint schemes and this year, its the R15’s turn. For the 2013 model year, the motorcycle gets four new color options. The R15 dressed in Thundering Green which is a special edition color will retail at Rs.1,12,750 while the MotoGP edition Racing Blue will command a premium of Rs. 1,000 over the former. The other new colors Raring Red and Invincible Black are standard and will be available at a price of Rs. 1,10,750, all the prices being ex-showroom Delhi. The mechanical setup of the bike remains untouched and the baby R1 still uses the 150cc fuel injected engine that puts 17 horses worth of power on road via a 6-speed gearbox. If you already got immune to the adrenalin rush that the R15 offers, you may have to wait longer for a 250cc bike from Yamaha as the company no plans to launch it in 2013 .
