Kawasaki unveiled Z250 naked bike in Indonesia

Kawasaki has unveiled a new 250cc bike, the Kawasaki Z25o in Indonesia. The 25occ naked bike derives its styling inspirations from the Z series big boys, the Z1000 and the Z800. The bike has its engine and radiator exposed from front but unlike traditional naked bikes, the Z250 gets panels covering the side. The Kawasaki Z25o employs the same 259cc twin cylinder engine and 6-speed transmission setup as the Ninja but the Japanese bike maker hasn’t revealed any figures. The new motorcycle also shares its chassis, suspension and other major components with its faired warrior. So it is safe to state that the Z250, in effect, is the naked version of the Ninja 250R. The bike also borrows its instrument console from the Ninja which means it has an analog tachometer (uses white dial instead of Ninja’s black) and digital speedometer. The stylish 5 spoke alloys get wrapped with chunky rubber. The riding position complies to the naked bike norms and is more upright than the track focused Ninja. The handlebar has been raised and the rake has been altered by 29 degrees to offer better maneuverability in city environment. With 250cc category in India ready to erupt with host of incoming bikes, we can’t help but hope that Kawasaki brings this good looking bike to India. [Source: Autocarindia.com ]
