Are these the leaked CAD drawings of the new Yamaha 250cc motorcycle?

We all know that Yamaha is working on a new 250cc bike to slot between the YZF-R15 and YZF-R6. Tmcblog.com presents us a couple of CAD images which reportedly show the front fairing and the tail piece of the upcoming small sports bike. The images are of very low resolution and one can notice a steeply inclined visor which emanates from a very sharp and narrow headlamp unit. The entire fairing regards the laws of aerodynamics very seriously and that could give the bike an impressive high speed stability. The second image shows the bike’s rear part. Though nothing much can be deciphered clearly, we can say that the styling of the tank and the rear have a lot in common with the R15. It appears that the exhaust pipe runs just underneath the seat like in the current R1. The bike is still some time away from seeing the day light. Tmcblog.com reports that the new Yamaha motorcycle would be unveiled at the EICMA Milan 2014 in the later part of the year, shortly after which it will go on sale. We asked Mr. Masaki Asano , Deputy Managing Director of India Yamaha Motor about the possibility of the 250cc bike coming to India. Mr. Asano replied that India is in the radar but the company will be focusing on scooters in 2013. Given that the bike will not be ready until end of 2014, we think by the time the motorcycle hits the Indian market, the biking crowd would’ve moved to bikes in 300-400cc category. However, a new Yamaha sport bike is always a thing to cheer for! [Source: Tmcblog.com ]
