Bajaj pulls the silks off the 2012 Pulsar!

by Paul Joseph February 4, 2012 Featured

We are continually astounded by the things Bajaj does. A few days ago they announced the launch of the KTM 200 Duke and just a few days later we are seeing a completely new Pulsar. We cannot deny that we were sorely disappointed Bajaj when stopped producing the older P 200. Only now, more than a year later we know what ball game Bajaj has been at. And what a product the Pulsar is… slashes and cuts all over speak of an aggressive and hypermacho design that is way ahead of its competitors. The bikini faring, the tank shrouds, the chunky swing arm yell of its street fighter demeanor. The 199.5 cc bike breathes through four valves and is fired by a revolutionary triple spark technology and churns out a whopping 23.5 PS@ 9500 rpm and a 18.3 Nm torque @ 8000 rpm. The triple spark technology helps enhance pwer delivery and boost fuel efficiency to the maximum. What astounds us most, is the fact that all of this brilliant engineering and controlled chaos has been developed in house. The all new Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS does complete justice to the lineage it comes from and is fitting tribute to ten years of the Pulsar.   Bajaj pulls the silks off the 2012 Pulsar! is originally published on : Wheelosphere – Indian Car and Bike Blog
